From greenhouse to end product and installation of metal detector

Now that the harvest is in full swing we are enjoying the process of the strawberries leaving the greenhouse to get packaged into a great end product, such as you will find in the supermarket. During this process, the strawberries are picked and then packaged in our BRC certified packing house. The product is weighed precisely and transported via conveyor belt to the packing table. The punnets are labelled and metal detection is carried out. This is to further ensure the safety of the food. The punnets end up in boxes, which are then transported to the customers. A very labour intensive process all in all, culminating in the delivery of beautiful strawberries to happy customers.
