CO2 savings at Royal Berry Group

19-03-2021

Reducing CO2 is important in improving climate goals. Royal Berry is also trying to contribute to this.
Last year, Royal Berry generated 7,825,878 KwH of solar energy. This has resulted in a reduction of 435118 CO2 emissions.
To achieve a further reduction of CO2, a CHP (combined heat and power unit) was installed at the Clivia site at the end of 2020.
Royal Berry, Salvia location, will become CO2 neutral by mid-2021 as we will switch from gas to biomass.
Other options for further reducing CO2 on the farm are being considered.
